Last weekend we held our first St Maxs prayer fasting and feasting weekend. Some of us chose to spend the Friday fasting, and when we meet together on the Friday night we broke the fast first by praying in the pray zone, mainly praying for those effected by the shootings in Cumbria.
and then we feasted together, eating the huge banquet the Rich had spent the day preparing.
There were many highlights of the weekend, from breaking the fast, to spending time exploring Brokenness, on the Friday night, letting the kids come and chill out through out, to having some surprise guests turn up on the Saturday night after compline.
Niccii Spent the weekend making our broken journey table, which we will be using as part of our exploring worship.
